If you are looking for another alternative to take your kids during the summer while you are at work, you can take them to the Boys and Girls Club. Each location is different, but many only charge a $50 yearly membership fee and you pay $400 dollars for the entire summer or monthly for two children. Depending on income, your child could go for free. If you are military, its free at some locations. This is still cheaper than most daycares, YMCA etc. Please contact the location where you want your child to go to gather more information. Save $$ on Your Cable Bill

Ok, so are you tired of paying between $150-$250 dollars in cable bills. Well there is a way to save money. (Note: This idea may seem not so good to some, but thats ok. You will never know if something will work unless you get out there and try it. So be encourgaged and have the confidence to step out and be different) 🙂

So let me break it down for you.. The average family pays $150 a month. x 12 that is $1800 a year. WOW, do you know what you could be doing with that amount of money. ALOT!!

So if you purchase the Apple TV or Roku for those non Apple Fans, its $99 dollars at Best Buy (one time purchase meaning you pay one time and thats it, you will need one for each TV you have in your house, and it is well worth it) I have already purchased two Apple TV’s (I’m a APPLE FAN!!). You can watch all your favorite shows through Hulu or Netflix or whichever you choose for $7 dollar a month (dont’ quote me on that check the website to be safe.) You will still need internet so that you can access the subscription so your internet bill is aprox. $25 dollars or $20 if you have the lowest speed. So $20+$7 = $27 dollars a month x 12 = $324 a year. That is a savings of  $1476 a year. That could pay a bill or, pay off debt, go into savings, pay for a family vacation, the skys the limit.

For the local news channels just get a box from Radioshack. You know the bunny ears just so you can stay up to date on the weather.

This is definitely worth trying, what do you have to loose. I have purchased 2 Apple TV’s and I am ready to go!! We will save tons just from making this change. I have a co worker who already has the Apple TV and oh she LOVES it and has saved a lot of money. The Goal is to save, now for those of you who love SPORTS, I know Texas a  HUGE Sport State, ESPN you say… looking for a solution for that. But until then try this out and if you don’t like it you can always get your cable turned back on. But let me tell you once you switch, you will not want to go back.

$$Save$$ Cellphone Bill

If you want to save money on your cell phone bill you have come to the right place to get this info.

I used my Hubby as a test dummy.. LOL JK but really, he tried it out.

1. We bought an Iphone 4S from Walmart.
2. Bought Straight Talk phone card which you can pay for monthly, 6 months or 1 year.
3. This card includes unlimited Talk, Text and… wait for it Data, which we all love!!!
4. Activated the card
5. Walla!! You have an Iphone no contract like everyone else the difference is You are not paying what everyone else pays!! Yay!!!

So hubby has had this phone for a month and let me tell you, has Excellent connection, signal and all. He plays games like everyone else, text me back and forth and has a clear connection when I call to speak to him on the phone. Definitely worth checking out if you are trying to find ways to cut cost.

Yesterdays Event…

Soooo, I went to Best Buy to purchase some items and OMG, found out that I can get shopkick points for purchasing. So of course I received my kicks for walking in and then I received kicks for scanning the new Smart TV and then…… I got more kicks for buying items. Almost close to my Starbucks Giftcard. Which I can’t wait to get, I soooo LUV me some STARBUCKS!! LOL 🙂

Just so you guys know, I posted some really good Real Estate info for those who are military, ex-military, disabled vet and so forth. I hope it truly helps you guys. I will post more for those who are not military.. wouldn’t dare want to leave you guys out. But you do get the Homestead Exemption so that is pretty cool which will save you on taxes. So make sure to put in for things like this to add more money in your pocket.

Had an Amazing family day yesterday with my family at the Park Picnic!! Awesome!!! got to feed the lovely ducks and watch the kids play… FUN.. FUN..FUN…..
